foothands I bought the Dancing Queen/Dire Wolf 7" around '96 and wrote to ask for more. Russ made a cassette of every Bob Records recording and I played it to death.
This DM collection captures the fuzzed out pop I loved. They really made covers their own, and I didn't appreciate ABBA until DM cut straight to the heart of Dancing Queen.
A band that could just as easily be fun and light or mean and dark. There's something on here for any mood. Favorite track: Nice Time (written by Lee "Scratch" Perry).
